Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 'Mineral' Agrapart 2008

The maison Agrapart is located in the heart of Côtes des Blancs, in Avize, and was founded in 1894 by Arthur Agrapart. Today at the helm of the historic winery are Pascal and Fabrice, nephews of Arthur, who continue in the best way the path begun by his great-grandfather in full respect of the land and vineyards, using only his horse for the plowing. This Champagne "Mineral" is obtained using only Chardonnay grapes grown on calcareous soils especially that give finesse and minerality, aspects that we find clearly even in her fragrance, never over the top. The vineyards are all located in the municipalities of Grand Cru in Avize, Oger, and Cramant Oiry and have an average age of 40 years which contribute, together with the chalky soil of these areas, able to donate to Champagne "Mineral" great qualities of freshness and elegance. Champagne "Mineral" is a perfect example of corporate style: a wine that is a profound expression of its terroir of origin, but at the same time preserves the typical softness of the best wines of the Côtes des Blancs. A great Champagne, which best expresses the ability of this historic maison and the terroir of Avize.
