With this eleventh Edizione Cinque Autoctoni, Farnese winery has managed to produce a wine from aristocratic and ambitious profile, with incredible color and structural composure. The Cinque Autoctoni, able to deal with the time and strength to express the values of a specific territory, has led the company to confirm itself as one of the most versatile and articulate in the entire landscape of Abruzzo. The project, which represents the perfect essence of winery’s philosophy, for the production of this Cinque Autoctoni is very ambitious: first, there are chosen two representative areas, Puglia and Abruzzo, secondly, it is tried to make a wine from native grapes only, ignoring the contributions proposed by Bordeaux convenient shortcuts. A choice clearly thought out and weighed, but implemented for the simple fact that they wanted to enhance our wine heritage. All this has led to the assembly of Montepulciano, Primitivo, Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera and Negramaro, harmoniously and wisely measured by Filippo Baccalaro, winemaker of Farnese. In the glass the Cinque Autoctoni is a wine of great wealth and high intensity, a spokesman for the absolute quality of Farnese, a winery with numbers staggering.
