Nume Cottanera 2012

Nume by Cottanera is a wine that is fascinating from the first glass, with its intense fruity hints. In the lands surrounding volcano Etna cultivation of life is an old tradition, an activity that Enzo Cambria, at the helm of winery Cottanera, collected with passion. The peculiarities of this area are many, considering the fact that the volcano has created a unique terroir, rich in minerals and smoked sensation, well mixed in the wines produced by the Sicilian winery. In the vineyards, planted with spurred cordon, most interventions are made by hand and the work is entrusted to a team of 25 women, the same used during the harvest, following a local tradition that Cottanera wants to protect. Nume was born from the merger of two grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, cultivated in the vineyard Fiume, in Castiglione di Sicilia. A wine that represents how good the company Cottanera is doing for the revival of this area, again national leader in the wine world.
