Syrah 'Sole di Sesta' Cottanera 2013

Sole di Sesta by Cottanera comes on the groove of a series of experiments, which began in the 90s by impulse of new generations of the family Cambria, about international grape varieties planted in the alluvial and volcanic soils on the slopes of Etna along with the typical native varieties and vinified in purity. One of them is this Syrah, fielded with the Guyot system (typical in the places of origin of the grape in the Rhone Valley) on soils with high mineral content, which can give rise to fresh and fragrant wines. But Sole di Sesta joins to this aromaticity a mighty structure, derived by an high tannin content, that can occur in a durable style, enjoyable over the years.
