Teroldego Rotaliano 'Vigilius' De Vescovi Ulzbach 2010

The Teroldego "Virgilius" by De Vescovi Ulzbach is one of those red wines from Trentino that affect the body and structure. Two features that make this Teroldego really important and absolutely elegant. Born in Mezzocorona, in the heart of the plain Rotaliana vineyards partly reared pergola and partly reared back; vineyards that the family De Bishops knows every inch, vineyards cultivated with care and wisdom with the intent to make great wines. Meticulous care and thinning of the clusters beyond the product specification of Teroldego to further enrich the grapes of aromatic substances. The Teroldego "Virgilius" is left to ferment in contact with the skins in oak vats open for 7-10 days, before malolactic fermentation in oak barrels where the wine is aged for 12-18 months. Thus a Teroldego that occurs in the chalice with its distinctive dark ruby red, intense, dark, with garnet and that gives the nose a bouquet balsamic and spicy, with incisors references to red fruit.
