Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Superiore 'Ylice' Poderi Mattioli 2013

The Verdicchio of Castelli di Jesi "Ylice" by Mattioli Estates is a wine with solarity for excellence. Giordano and Giacomo Mattioli best represent the peasant culture of the Serra de' Conti, near the Regional Natural Park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi; just where in the twelfth century was an ancient mansion called "the castellare of Ylice" where Ylice was Leccio, a variety of unique and ancient oak that was very common in this area. The house is no longer there, but Giordano and Giacomo chose to bring it to current passing on the name of that ancient pearl Marche.
