Vermentino di Sardegna 'Tino' Mora&Memo 2013

The Vermentino of Sardinia “Tino" Mora&Memo is a vermentino able to tell a unique story. Born in Serdiana, in the countryside north of Cagliari, at thirty kilometers as the crow flies from the sea, on an estate of about 40 hectares, at 240 meters above sea level, where the climate is mild in winter and the summers are pleasantly cool. Is in this scenic context that the seal Mora&Memo, original, creative and simple at the same time. The talent is already known by the company logo, where we find the "four more” in perfect contrast with "Four Mori" of the flag of Sardinia. If the story is about the legendary battle thanks to which Sardinia was liberated from the oppression of the Mori, Mora&Memo speaks of "Bandidas" characters created by the vivacity of Katia Marcias. The colors, the austerity and the elegance of Sardinia, a metaphor for life in one of the most beautiful islands in the world, where the woman, Mora, was and is still the focal point of social life. Mora&Memo produces natural and organic wines that are able to transfer fully the characteristics of a land poor in the vine and wine before then. The Vermentino "Tino" Mora&Memo lives of their own philosophy, it is made brief contact with the skins before and on the lees for approximately six months later. Sun, sea and wind; "Tino" enjoys a unique climate and this makes it a really interesting wine: the straw-yellow in the glass, it blends perfectly with brilliant greenish reflections, on the nose we are immediately surrounded by floral notes and intense plant, with hints of rosemary and thyme. A long lasting taste that accompanies the taste is well suited with fish in general, but also soups and pasta with light sauces and condiments.
